Why it mattersMorni Hills is a rare natural hill ecosystem in the otherwise flat Haryana, home to diverse birdlife and two natural lakes.
March brings spring to Morni Hills. Temperatures climb to 12-24°C. Wildflowers appear in the pine forest understory. The twin lakes are blue under clear skies. Weekend visitors from Chandigarh increase but the hills absorb them. The adventure activities (zip-lining, Burma bridge) reopen.

Haryana Tourism resort by the twin lakes. Clean cottages, boating on the lake, and forest walks. The best (and almost only) proper accommodation in Morni. Good for a weekend escape from Chandigarh.

Pizza and pasta are reliable; skip the Indian mains. Cafe is open to day-trippers but priority goes to overnight guests during peak monsoon — ring ahead if visiting only for food.
