January at Lenyadri runs at the year-best window for the only cave-temple Ashtavinayak. Girijatmaj (the son-of-Parvati form — atmaj means son, Girija is Parvati) sits inside Buddhist Cave 7 of 30 in the Hinayana Manmodi-Junnar cave group (2nd century BCE), making this the only Ashtavinayak inside a rock-cut cave and the only one north-facing among the eight temples. Live in Lenyadri
The temple-trust accommodation directly below the Lenyadri Ganpati cave (one of Astavinayak's eight) — basic dormitory and family rooms at trust rates, vegetarian prasad meals. The official pilgrim-only bed, bookable through the Junnar Devasthan office.
