July is unsafe Siddhatek. Bhima river at peak monsoon flow — the boat crossing from Shidoli suspends regularly through the month on flood-warning days. The temple foot-bridge (used in dry season as an alternate to the boat) submerges fully through July. The small fishing-boats cannot operate against the strong river current on heavy-rain days. The Siddhivinayak right-trunk darshan continues at the island temple — the 1810 Ahilyabai Holkar structure remains dry on its elevated platform — but pilgrim access becomes unreliable. ASI and the local temple trust post weekly access advisories; on flood-warning weeks the temple operates with priest-only puja and no pilgrim darshan. The Daund-plateau monsoon-soaked landscape around the island is photographically striking but operationally compromised. The 100km Pune drive via Daund takes 3-3.5 hours through caution sections. Sankashti Chaturthi pilgrim flow minimal. MTDC and MSRTC yatra packages drop Siddhatek from July itineraries. Push to October.
