The 1864 lighthouse closes during storm advisories from the Indian Coast Guard. Beach shacks remain dismantled until October 1. Taj Fort Aguada Resort drops walk-in rates 50 percent versus February peak but most guests are domestic-monsoon-honeymoon traffic, not heritage visitors. Hotel pool and AC indoor amenities become the entire trip. October is the next coherent window for the actual fort-and-lighthouse experience.
