The four 310m tiers still run at strong post-monsoon flow — only marginally easing from the August-September peak — and the spray-through-the-bridge effect is at its photogenic best for the Vasco-Hubli train crossings (Goa Express 12780, Hubli-Vasco Passenger 07306). Daytime 23-30C in the valley, rainfall 150-200mm mostly the first 10 days, humidity easing toward 75 percent. Wildlife sanctuary drives are at year-best — sloth bear, gaur, sambar concentrate as monsoon waterholes shrink to remaining streams.
