The samadhi temple of Neem Karoli Baba, the Hanuman-devotee saint who guided Ram Dass through the 1960s and whose name still draws Western seekers — Steve Jobs visited in 1974, Mark Zuckerberg in 2015. Built around the saint's 1973 mahasamadhi spot, the compound holds a tile-mosaic Hanuman murti, a small Durga shrine, and the takhat where Maharajji slept. Far quieter than Banke Bihari, with regular kirtan in the late afternoon. Best: Oct-Mar (cooler). Aarti at 5am and 5pm is the most charged. Maharajji's mahasamadhi anniversary on Sep 11 draws the largest gathering.. Reach: On Parikrama Marg about 1 km west of the ISKCON temple — autorickshaw from Banke Bihari is around ₹50-80. The compound gate is unmarked from the road; look for the small Sri Kainchi Hanuman Mandir sign.. Tip: Free entry. No photography inside the samadhi room. Sit on the marble floor for kirtan; cushions are provided. The bhandara (free meal) runs after the noon aarti — donation box at the kitchen..
