Naddi Viewpoint.
McLeod Ganj day-trippers do the Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu waterfall, and Triund start. Naddi sits on the ridge above Dal Lake, on the road that ends past it - so unless you are staying in Naddi, you do not pass through.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
The clearest, north-facing view of the Dhauladhar ridge available within 4 km of McLeod Ganj. Sun hits the snow walls full-side at sunrise; the ridge backs the sky right through sunset. The walk from Dal Lake takes about an hour through pine and oak; the drive about 25 minutes. Naddi village itself is a working hill village with a few cafes - quieter than Dharamkot.
