Watch points: High altitude; remote — no evacuation; weather unpredictable. Fitness level: high, not recommended for children under 14. Nearest hospital: PHC Aru area. District Hospital Pahalgam 12km from Aru. Serious cases: SKIMS Srinagar 95km. Network coverage: Jio/Airtel at Aru and Pahalgam. No signal from Lidderwat onwards. Zero coverage at lakes. BSNL very patchy at Lidderwat only.
