Pune's most beloved trek. Sinhagad (Lion Fort) is where Tanaji Malusare scaled the cliff face with a monitor lizard to recapture it for Shivaji — "Gad aala pan Sinha gela" (the fort is won but the lion is lost). The monsoon trek from the base is stunning.
