Sar Pass Trek is a moderate 5-day, 48 km trek, topping out at 4,200 m. The route takes in Snow corridor crossing; Pine forest camping; Parvati Valley views. Best months: May–June and September. Watch points: 4200m altitude; snow sections slippery; leeches lower sections. Fitness level: moderate, not recommended for children under 12. Nearest hospital: PHC Kasol 8km from Grahan. Regional Hospital Kullu 55km. Serious cases: Kullu hospital. Network coverage: Jio/Airtel at Kasol. Patchy BSNL at Grahan. No signal from Min Thatch onwards until Barshaini.
