Mawphlang Sacred Grove Trek
A 4km loop through one of Meghalaya's 79 sacred groves (Khasi: Law Kyntang) — protected by Lyngdohs (clan priests) for 800+ years. The trail enters from Mawphlang village, threads stone monoliths and wet evergreen canopy, and surfaces into the David Scott Trail crossroads. Local guide compulsory — set up at the David Scott Trail Trailhead Visitor Centre.
