Kolahoi Glacier Trek is a hard 5-day, 40 km trek, topping out at 3,600 m. The route takes in Kashmir largest glacier; Lidderwat meadow camping; Pine forest trail. Best months: June–September. Watch points: River crossings; weather unpredictable; remote. Fitness level: high, not recommended for children under 14. Nearest hospital: PHC Aru area. District Hospital Pahalgam 12km. Serious cases: SKIMS Srinagar 95km. Network coverage: Jio/Airtel at Aru. Weak BSNL at Lidderwat. No signal from Satlanjan onwards. Zero coverage near glacier.
