Kalsubai Peak Trek

Bhandardara

Maharashtra's highest peak. A weekend favourite from Mumbai/Pune — 6km round-trip from Bari village with four sets of iron ladders bolted into the rock face for the upper sections. Pre-dawn start to catch sunrise from the summit + the Bhandardara reservoir glimmering below. Monsoon turns the slopes emerald and the waterfalls run; Nov-Feb gives clearer views.
