Indrahar Pass Trek is a moderate 3-day, 24 km trek, topping out at 4,342 m. The route takes in Gateway pass between Kangra and Chamba valleys; Dramatic landscape change visible from the pass; Snow wall climb near the pass — thrilling; Dhauladhar range up close and personal. Best months: May–June and September–October. Watch points: Pass crossing requires good fitness and prior experience; snow on approach even in September — crampons may be needed; aMS risk above 4000m — acclimatize at Lahesh Cave. Fitness level: high, not recommended for children under 16. Nearest hospital: Dharamshala Zonal Hospital — 10km from McLeodganj, 30 minutes by road. Network coverage: Jio/Airtel work at Triund (weak). No signal at Lahesh Cave or pass. Completely off-grid above Triund.
