Hampta Pass Trek is a moderate 4-day, 26 km trek, topping out at 4,270 m. The route takes in Green to desert shift; Hampta Pass 4270m; Chandratal add-on. Best months: June–September. Watch points: River crossings monsoon; aMS at pass; weather changes rapidly. Fitness level: moderate, not recommended for children under 12. Nearest hospital: Civil Hospital Manali 15km from Jobra. On Lahaul side: PHC Chatru 5km from Shea Goru. Serious cases: Keylong Hospital 60km. Network coverage: Jio/Airtel at Jobra. No signal from Chikka onwards until Chatru. Chatru has weak BSNL. Zero coverage at pass.
