The route takes in Lightning-struck Shiva lingam reassembled with butter; 360-degree views of Kullu, Parvati and Garsa valleys; One of the easiest ridge treks in Himachal; Ancient temple at 2460m with fascinating legend. Best months: March–June and September–November. Watch points: Trail is exposed — avoid during thunderstorms; no water source on the trail — carry from base; last section is steep stone steps. Fitness level: beginner, suitable for children with adult supervision. Nearest hospital: Regional Hospital Kullu — 25km from Chansari, 45 minutes by road. Network coverage: Jio and Airtel work at temple top. BSNL intermittent. Good signal at Chansari.
