March warms to 12-24°C. The reservoir begins refilling from snowmelt. Spring green climbs the surrounding hills. The lake colour deepens from winter grey to blue-green. The new township comes alive as students and government workers shake off winter. The dam viewpoints (multiple along the ridge road) are comfortable all day. Water sports preparation begins.
