June is pre-monsoon Solan — 20-32°C. The Shoolini Mela (Solan's biggest annual fair, honouring Shoolini Devi) transforms the town — rides, markets, folk performances, and genuine local celebration. Dates shift but it's typically mid-June. This is the one time Solan demands attention as a destination, not a transit point. Monsoon arrives late June.
Live in Solan
Clean budget hotel — good transit stop between Chandigarh and Shimla. Nothing fancy but AC works, water is hot, and the bazaar is walkable. The brewery is a 5-minute drive.
