Karol Tibba & Pandava Cave.
Solan is a transit town: Mall Road, Mohan Meakins, Shoolini temple. Karol Tibba is a 9 km moderate trek that runs from a Kandaghat-side trailhead to the highest peak in the Solan-Shimla belt (2880 m), and tour packages do not include the half-day required.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
The summit is the highest point in this part of the Shivaliks, with a 360-degree view that includes Choor Chandni and Churdhar on a clear day. The Pandava Cave, two-thirds of the way up, is a low-ceilinged limestone shelter that locals associate with the Pandavas' exile - whatever the lineage, the cave itself is genuinely old and used by herders today. Forest is mixed deodar-rhododendron with March-April bloom.
