Recent late-season cyclones — Mandous (Dec 2022); Michaung (Dec 5-6, 2023, made landfall near Nellore, brushed the Krishna basin) — are reminders that Bay of Bengal cyclogenesis extends into December. The first three weeks of December are the better-value window — peak weather minus peak chaos.
