    Cover head before entering (rumal/dupatta available at langar hall entrance). Wash hands at the taps outside the hall. Sit in pangat (rows) — do not break the row. After eating, carry your steel thali to the wash area yourself — it is part of seva. Vaisakhi (April) and Maghi Mela (mid-Jan) see langar volumes 10x — arrive off-peak hours (10am-noon, 3-5pm) on those days.

    The 8-11am paratha window is when butter is freshest — order aloo or paneer paratha, ask for white butter (not market butter) on top. Avoid 1.30-2.30pm Sunday rush (Bathinda families). Cash only at most counters; the parking is small so taxis drop-and-loop.
