On 21 September 2023, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the Ekatmata Ki Pratima ("Statue of Oneness") — a 108-foot multi-metal sculpture of Adi Shankaracharya depicted as a 12-year-old (the age at which tradition says he attained knowledge and met his guru Govinda Bhagavatpada on Mandhata Island). The statue sits on a 54-ft pedestal on Mandhata mountain. Around 5,000 saints attended the unveiling. The Advaita Lok exhibition centre was foundation-stoned the same day.
