Colva-Benaulim is South Goa's main resort belt — long flat beaches, the original 5-star cluster (Taj Exotica, St. Regis/former Leela at Cavelossim, Park Hyatt at Arossim, Alila Diwa at Majorda). Families come for the calm, kids come for the pools, couples come for the space. Compared to North Goa: fewer crowds, more resort-style, less character.

Alila Diwa Goa
Balinese-design 5-star in quiet Majorda — infinity pool over paddy fields, separate kids pool, set back from the beach (10-min shuttle to Majorda sand). Less crowded than the Benaulim/Cavelossim cluster. Good honeymoon pick; ratings consistently mention well-groomed staff and the sunset views.
Radisson Blu Resort Goa Cavelossim Beach
Direct beach access on Cavelossim (one of Goa's least-crowded 5-star beaches), lush gardens, kids' zone and pool. Wonderful clean beach consistently called out in reviews. More moderate pricing than Taj Exotica with comparable beach quality on the Cavelossim stretch.
Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa (Arossim)
Pousada-architecture 5-star on Arossim beach, 15 minutes from Dabolim Airport. Spread over 45 acres, multi-level pools, Sereno Spa. Rooms have private verandas. Best 5-star for a last-night-before-flight stay because of airport proximity.
