Bhalukpong Fort Ruins (Raja Bhaluka site).
Most travellers see Bhalukpong as a refuelling stop on the way to Bomdila and miss the 10th-century fort ruins on the riverbank — named for King Bhaluka, grandfather of King Bana of Mahabharata fame.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
Crumbling stone blocks, an old pond and brick well sit on a low hillock above the Bhareli (Kameng tributary). The site is undeveloped — bring shoes and curiosity, not expectations. Locally tied to the Bana-Banasura lineage of Sonitpur in oral tradition.
