Shirui Peak Trek is an easy single-day, 8 km trek, topping out at 2,835 m. The route takes in Endemic Shirui Lily blooms May-June — found nowhere else on earth; Panoramic views of Manipur hills from 2835m; Pine and rhododendron forests; Shirui Lily Festival in May. Best months: April–June. Watch points: Best only in Apr-Jun when lily blooms — limited season; iLP required for Manipur; ukhrul has limited tourist infrastructure. Fitness level: beginner, suitable for children with adult supervision. Nearest hospital: Ukhrul District Hospital — 8km from Shirui village, 20 minutes by road. Network coverage: Airtel works in Ukhrul and Shirui village. Patchy on the peak.
