Brahmagiri Peak Trek is a moderate 2-day, 14 km trek, topping out at 1,608 m. The route takes in Karnataka-Kerala border crossing; Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary; Shola forest ecosystem; Views into Wayanad valley. Best months: January–March and October–December. Watch points: Permit required from Forest Dept; leeches in monsoon; no camping at summit. Fitness level: moderate, not recommended for children under 14. Nearest hospital: Government Hospital Virajpet 35km. Network coverage: No coverage in sanctuary. BSNL at Iruppu Falls entrance.
