Bhadraj Temple Trek is an easy single-day, 8 km trek, topping out at 2,180 m. The route takes in Ancient Bhadraj Temple with panoramic Doon Valley views; Dense oak and deodar forest canopy; Views of Yamuna valley and distant Himalayan peaks; Bird-watching paradise — over 50 species spotted. Best months: March–June and September–November. Watch points: Trail can be slippery after rain; monkeys in forested sections — keep food packed; no shops after Hathipaon — carry water and snacks. Fitness level: beginner, suitable for children with adult supervision. Nearest hospital: Landour Community Hospital — 8km from trailhead, 30 minutes by road. Doon Hospital Dehradun — 35km. Network coverage: Jio and Airtel work for most of the trail. Signal drops in dense forest sections. Good coverage at temple.
