Why this matters
Aman-i-Khas sits on the threshold of Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. The name blends 'aman' (peace in Sanskrit) and 'khás' (special in Urdu). The camp has 13 climate-controlled tents, each a suite inspired by Mughal hunting pavilions—double-height ceilings, king-size beds, sunken marble bathtubs. Each tent is over 100 square metres and divided by thick cotton curtains into separate rooms with a living area (large daybed), dining area, bathroom, and sun deck. Service is private—each tent has a personal butler and complimentary laundry. The Spa Tent offers massages, scrubs, facials, henna art; a Lounge Tent houses a bar and library; a central fire pit is the evening gathering point. The sparkling pool mirrors the region's traditional stepwells—concentric steps descend into the water. Dining focuses on Rajasthani cuisine inspired by the Mughal courts, plus continental options; vegetables and herbs are grown in the camp's organic garden. Twice-daily safaris depart to seek Bengal tigers; an expert wildlife guide leads each expedition. The camp is closed June–September (monsoon). Peak season October–March books months ahead; rates are all-inclusive (meals, safaris, butter service, laundry). This is a destination on its own—not a hotel en route.
The moment you came for
