A 1738 Mahadeva (Shiva-Mangesh form) temple, the most-visited Hindu temple in Goa with 4,000-6,000 daily visitors. The deity was relocated here from Cortalim during the Inquisition — the Mangueshi shrine was rebuilt by the Sonde kings of Karnataka. Distinctive 7-storey deepa-stambha (lamp tower) lit during festivals. Open 6am-10pm daily.
